Tomato Bulgarian Pink

Large Pink, pointy ended tomato on Indeterminate Vines.

Description

Grown for the first time in 2018 with seeds from a seed swap, we were interested to see how this grew.

A vigorous plant with large round fruit with a pointy end (like Principe Borghese on steroids). They have a reasonable amount of flesh and seeds and seem to be excellent for cooking. (Mixed with dark tomatoes you get a lovely sauce and they are big enough to peel easily).

My problem is that I'm not sure they really are Pink Bulgarian as the descriptions around the web make Pink Bulgarian a "standard" beefsteak and I think somebody would have commented on the pointy bit. And its not just some of them, its all the fruit on the plant.

Its one of those times when growing lots of different tomato cultivars becomes a problem of identification.

However, whatever they are the quantity and taste make it worthwhile growing them again and they're good for sauces.
