Tomato Sweet Pea Currant

Pea sized red cherry tomato on determinate plants.

Description

Sweet Pea Currant produces hundreds of pea sized sweet tomatoes. The early ripening, indeterminate, fine regular-leafed plant can be grown as a cordon, its untidy habit means that we recommend that it be grown as a bush indoors or outdoors on the patio, one option is to put a string around the plant to hold it together. The tiny tomatoes burst with flavour but need to be picked carefully as they are likely to split. Children pick the tomatoes as they ripen and eat them like sweets. Really, really good in salads, on pizza’s and anywhere else where a burst of flavour is needed. Perfect!
